I do not feel this doctor offered me value for money. As a self paying patient I would expect a more professional service. I was contacted by the hospital and they seemed very keen on having my credit card but less efficient at answering my questions. When I saw Mr Nejad he seemed nice but simply referred me for expensive tests that my GP has said are available on the NHS but I was not advised this. I do not feel I received value for money as it was a very expensive appointment in reality for the time I consulted I think I will have paid an hourly rate of close to £600 which is more than double the rate I pay my lawyer.

He really took the time to explain my issues and the potential implications on my back and gave me really helpful advice as to what I need to do to try and mitigate my symptoms as far as possible – AK

I didn’t take to this doctor. He was late, seemed preoccupied and has asked me to have some tests which are very expensive. When I suggested I could get the tests done for cheaper his response suggests that he has a vested interest in me having the tests at the Spire hospital. As a consumer I should be able to get tests for the lowest possible price shouldn’t I?

My wife and I are 83 years old,over the last 15 years we have each had 2 hip replacements under Mr. Nejad The quality of his expertise was of the highest level,and we cannot fault his care and attention to both of us. Mr Hashemi -Nejad, Has operated on both of my hips, as I needed hip replacements on both. He was caring , thorough, and I would highly recommend him. Life has improved greatly since my opps . I can now walk again do all my serious gardening , and enjoy my life to the full again. As I said I would recommend him to anyone ..
